Sencha is a green tea and is the most popular tea in Japan. Tea farmers harvest sencha from the top leaves and buds of tea plants grown in full sunlight. It is regarded as a high-quality tea with a deep golden green color and sweet flavor. It is excellent served hot, but also awesome served over ice.
