    Coffee: A Hot Commodity

Volcanic Loam—it's the soil our Lumberjack Blend beans are grown in. A nutrient full, sand and silt soil making these Wild Beans earthy, rich, and smooth.

The robust beans in this Wild Coffee are select Premium Grade "1", sourced from small farms and crops. Then they're freshly roasted before they head out the door to get to you. That fresh roasted smell is invigorating, just like your cup of Wild Lumberjack Coffee will taste. Enjoy!

How To Brew The Wild Way

Drip Method: 2 tbsp medium grind coffee to 8 ounces of 195-205 degree water.

Pour Over: 28 grams of coarse ground coffee to 310 grams of 200 degree water.

Smooth Chemex: 6 tbsp of coarse ground coffee to 700 grams of water.

Fair Prices For The Coffee Farmers

Fair Trade ensures the origin of the product you're getting, as well as, fair pay to the farmers for the beans they've grown and cared for.

This grants them a fair price for their crops, and their local community benefits from this arrangement too.

    Fair Trade = Empowerment

The rigorous standards give farmers and workers a voice. Fair Trade empowers the individuals involved to make choices for the good of themselves and the community they live in—regardless of their gender, status, position in society, or position on the globe.

    Past and Present Coffee

Soldiers who were craving coffee and couldn't get it during the American Civil War, tried roasting sweet potatoes and corn to make a similar beverage. It obviously didn't become a very popular choice. Nothing really compares to real coffee!

After crude oil, coffee is the most sought after commodity in the world. Worldwide, coffee is worth over $100 billion. That puts it ahead of commodities like natural gas, gold, sugar, and corn.
