I trust and love the wild foods products. I love what they stand for and the purity of their products. The krill oil is awesome.
What Is A "Krill"?
Krill are small crustaceans, and although species vary, they are found in all the oceans worldwide. Their name actually comes from the Norwegian word krill, meaning "small fry of fish".
Certified by Friends of the Sea because it does not disrupt fragile aquatic ecosystems!
Krill Oil vs. Fish Oil
Both fish oil and krill oil contain omega-3 fatty acids, including DHA and EPA. Krill oil comes from small crustaceans, not fish, and typically it contains more EPA. Krill's red color sets it apart from fish oil.
The fatty acids found in krill oil can help relieve symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It may improve eye moisture and reduce dry eyes. It's heart healthy and has shown positive results in lowering blood sugar, triglycerides and “bad” LDL cholesterol.
