Not all MCT oil is created equal. Wild Foods is a company I trust completely. I am confident you will find this MCT oil meets the high-quality standard you are looking for.
It comes in a study and awesome glass bottle that I feel safe storing in. The product seems to be very good, though it is my first time using the MCT oil. I do feel like I'm more alert and mentally stimulated. I feel good when ever I mix it in with my shake. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a quality MCT oil or anything in this store. Awesome quality and amazing customer service. I can't praise enough.
This MCT does not give me stomach upset like others I have used. It has a light buttery taste. Great in coffee. I find it to be a nice source of energy.
Thanks for being awesome. Your oil is a crucial element in my life!
I have used different brands of mct oil and I think Wild's is my top favorite. I use this in my coffee, in granola batches, sauteing spinach and greens and in my smoothies. Flavorless and energizing.

Wild MCT Oil FAQ's
Wild MCT has naturally occurring fatty acids Caprylic Acid (C8:0) 50-60% and Capric Acid (C10:0) 34-35%!
Wild MCT is made in the US from coconut and palm kernels sourced from sustainable sources in southeast Asia. Due to availability, our manufacturer buys from various sources depending on availability in the area, but each farm/producer must show sustainable farming practices before we will buy from them. As you know, the palm deforestation is a major problem over there. We would never support anyone contributing to this problem.
Our supplier buys palm and coconuts from small sustainable producers. The palm helps get the ideal ratio and increases the consistency of the product. By supporting small producers that grow palm sustainably, we do a lot more for sustainable palm industry than simply not buying palm at all.
It sure is! No solvents or harsh chemicals are used.
Heck yes you can! Wild MCT is a staple in the Wild kitchen. It is safe for low to moderate heat cooking and baking. It's also the perfect base for salad dressing.
Absolutely nothing. Just a plain, flavorless, odorless oil. In fact, that's one of its very selling points. Because coconut oil tends to impart a coconut flavor onto anything it touches, Wild MCT helps you get the medium-chain triglycerides, and all their benefit, into your diet and recipes without the coconut flavor (and a higher smoke point).
The main difference is the inclusion of C12 - lauric acid - in our 16oz BPA-free plastic bottle size. Our glass bottle is a blend of just C8 and C10 fatty acids, while our MCT #2 is a blend of C8/C10/C12. The C12 makes it a bit more potent for skincare, haircare, oil pulling, and anything relating to external body use. The C8/C10 is better used as a fuel for things such as butter coffee, protein shakes, and the like. Both are great for all uses really, but each will give an added boost for the purposes mentioned above!
We cannot speak on what other brands do since we have no clue about their process. What I have learned, though, is that you get what you pay for when it comes to food and ingredients. Bulk MCT that is cheap is almost always cheap for a reason: non-sustainable practices, cheap over-farmed ingredients, chemical treatment, lack of quality control and testing, and so on. Our MCT is sourced direct from small farmers that grow sustainably and organically. We also use the highest quality fractioning process without the use of chemicals like hexane.
Shelf-life on unopened bottles is 2 years. Opened bottles, if kept in a cool, dry, dark place, still last several months if stored properly.
