Wild Newsletter – July 2, 2017
Dear Wildling,
Things move fast today.
There's something new vying for your attention on a literal minute-by-minute basis.
Sure, there are some gems amidst all the noise—after all, who doesn't like funny memes or the random dancing baby video?
Beyond that, the unfortunate fact of our current Internet age is the vast majority of the things that beg to be clicked, watched, read, or purchased are complete and utter junk.
This is why most of us subscribe to a few newsletters we enjoy, so we can filter through the noise and save time. There are a few email senders you'll always open. (We hope we are one of them!)
So… this email is our first attempt to share the latest Wild updates, promos, articles, recipes, recommended books, articles, podcasts, and more, in a short, easy-to-digest format.
The weekly Wild newsletter will be short and valuable, we promise. And it will go out every Friday at Noon.
Thank you for your support and reading!

Wild Guide Of The Week
One of our newest Wild Guides to hit the web, The Wild Guide to Fish Oil, is everything you want to know about fish oil—one of the essential supplements for optimal health and well-being.
Book Of The Week
Sapiens has become a best-seller seemingly out of nowhere by this first-time author. That's because it is so freaking good. I got this on Audible, but either the book or the audiobook is a must-read for any functioning human (IMO).
Podcast Of The Week
I've been following Tim Ferris for years since reading his first book, The Four-Hour Workweek. His podcast is usually ranked #1 on iTunes. There is something of interest to everyone. Def check out the Jamie Foxx episode.
Article Of The Week
100 Blocks a Day by Waitbutwhy.com – No matter how many blocks you have left in your life, this is a necessary reminder to use them well. He is one of my favorite writers on the Internet.
Quote Of The Week
"A man can't learn what he thinks he already knows."-Epictetus.
Dogma is a disease of the human species. We think we know things, but we know nothing. Most people need to realize that science and research are just educated guesses.
A hypothesis is an "educated guess," which we all learn in middle school science. Yet you see journalists, authors, policymakers, fitness gurus, and the like cite a few pieces of research before going on to make various claims as fact.
We'd all get along much better—and save ourselves mountains of suffering—if we were more willing to say, "I don't know."
