    Very flavorful!

Very potent. Not much is needed for added flavor in drinks or food.
    I will definitely purchase again.

    Excellent service;Excellent Products

I have been using the Wild Mushroom powder for years. More recently I have ordered their Tumeric Powder and hope to like it and its results as much as the Mushroom Powder. I also love the communication and service of this company

    Best Tasting

I have tried other Turmeric from other companies. This companies Turmeric is just so smooth and tastes really good. It does not clump and has such a rich color and very tame smell. Definitely a big difference in quality and I have seen a big difference in my quality of life since switching to this brand.

Amazing as always. Good quality stuff :-)

    A Customer's Perspective

Wild brand Turmeric powder has an amazingly bright, pungent, tart taste that makes it super easy to tell that it's really fresh. It hasn't yet lost the brightness that the fresher turmeric powders have.

It's so cool that it's fair trade and single origin. Then the company that distributes it knows exactly where it came from and it isn't an amalgamation of different turmerics all dried and ground and mixed together. I'd gladly pay more to know that the farmer is getting a fair price for their product as well.

    Wild Turmeric FAQ

What's the difference between turmeric and curcumin?

Curcumin is the naturally occurring chemical compound found in the spice turmeric. Turmeric, is the root of a plant known as "Curcuma Longa" and that's probably where curcumin gets its name from. So, in short, turmeric is the root that contains curcumin.

    What does turmeric taste like?

It's mildly aromatic in scent and tastes slightly bitter. The taste is earthy, kind of like a gingery bitter.

It pairs nicely with many other spices, (and you gain even more health benefits from it when combined with black pepper). You can sprinkle turmeric powder into sautéed greens like kale, collards, and cabbage.

Is this product tested for heavy metals? How do I know it's safe?

Yes! Every batch must pass COA testing to ensure safety for microbial and heavy metal content.

    Is this product vegan-friendly?

How much turmeric should the average person use?

It is suggested that adults ingest about 1-3 grams from either fresh turmeric root or ground turmeric per day. If you're particularly looking for anti-inflammatory effects you need to get 500 to 1,000 milligrams of curcuminoids per day.

A good rule of thumb is that there are about 200 milligrams of curcumin in one teaspoon of ground turmeric.

As for turmeric for children, it's best to give them “culinary doses” by simply including some into your healthy recipes as you would any other herb or spice.

Does this product have any additives?

    Never ever ever evaaaa!
