I just gotta record a quick video. I was gonna wrap up but think of this as a PSA, this is a public service announcement.
You have to stop being entitled. No one owes you anything. You don’t deserve anything. The universe doesn’t owe you shit, alright? So stop.
It’s just holding you back. And you have to stop thinking and talking negatively about everything, right? Every single thing.
The more you talk about negativity, the more you blame, play the victim, talk about someone else and how they got lucky or how they do this wrong or that wrong, the more you are manifesting those exact things in your life.
Now you may have heard of the seeker, and you may have heard of things like visualizing.
Well there’s a law of attraction for a lot of things, and even if you don’t believe in all that woo woo stuff, the way your subconscious works, the more things that you talk about, the more things that you focus on, even if you think you’re focusing on someone else, the more you’re gonna get of that.
Your subconscious connects the things coming out of your mouth, the things you think as reality, and it draws more to that thing, so you get more of that in your life.
Why do people that are negative Nancy’s that complain, that play the victim, why do they seem to always have something in their life that is not the way it should be, that is something worth complaining about, why? They always do. Because for and false function.
When you talk about these things, think about these things, complain about these things, you get these things, period. Literally period.
You will never, ever change that equation until you change what you do, say, think, and feel. You focus on the positive, when you focus on getting stuff done and what you can control versus the way things are or the way you think you should’ve been.
Or this person that got lucky or that thing that shouldn’t have happened or should’ve happened, when you drop all that would’ve could’ve should’ve bullshit, and you focus on what can I do right now to change my situation?
What can I do right now to manifest what I want in my life? How can I think about that every single day? How can I talk about that every single day? How can I plan and dream and vision and then let life in my psyche, my subconscious, manifest this into my reality?
I could go on and on about this. I could use examples and this, but I want to keep this short because I want you to think about what I just said. Maybe re-watch it a couple times. I want to be short enough so you can re-watch it.
What you do in your life on a daily basis, your habits. Do you complain? Do you gripe, do you bitch, moan? Or do you plan? Do you pursue? Do you work? Do you focus? Do you shape and mold things by your doing, by your thinking, by how you use your time? Do you build things?
Will Spence says do you lay your bricks as perfectly as you can one brick at a time? Or are you stepping back saying I see too many bricks, I can’t do it, so you don’t even get started. These are the questions you need to ask yourself.
I really, really, really hope you do something about it for anyone really because I succumb to negativity and I complain and gripe and bitch at times. And every time I do, I try to reflect on whether that was useful or not. And the answer is always no, it wasn’t useful.
Now I think there’s something to be said for venting at times. In fact, I heard a really cool thing about it’s like a five minute rule or something like that where you basically get all of your negativity out for five minutes, almost like a primal screen, like get it out of your system. And then you’re done.
You’re done thinking about it. You’re done talking about it. You gave it its due, you gave it its five minutes to get out of your system, and now you’re cut off from it. It’s dead to you. That negativity is dead and gone. It’s not even part of your past anymore so don’t even think about it.
Do something about it. Find ways in your life. Small tweaks, because that’s how it starts. Any change starts with small tweaks.
Stop complaining in traffic, I know I need to stop doing that. Don’t get angry when this guy cuts you off or whatever, just let it go, move on. That’ll manifest into other things.
When you get home and the house isn’t the way you want it, let it go. Or better yet, go move some stuff yourself. Go do the dishes yourself.
Maybe you’re helping somebody out. Maybe someone has something to do or they were taking care of the kids or they got a phone call or whatever and you’re helping that person that didn’t clean up after themselves instead of focusing on why they should be perfect and why they should’ve done this thing because that’s the reality.
Humans are going to be imperfect creatures. We always will be. And so if we can try to view people with compassion and empathy and we try to see the light in things instead of seeing the darkness our lives are gonna be better. Their lives are gonna be better. And the whole fucking world’s gonna be a better place.
So stop with the negative bullshit unless you want to keep living in the negative bullshit.
