Wild Tea #15 Redbush Rooibos | Red Tea From Africa

from 7.95

Grown in the Cederberg region of South Africa, Rooibos was harvested from the Aspalathus Linearis plant. Harvested by the Khoisans for centuries until their population began to dwindle. If not for the rediscovery of the leaves in 1772 by botanist Carl Humberg, the tea would be extinct.

Rooibos is not a tea at all, but technically an herb. It is low in tannins and has 50 times more antioxidants than green tea. Calling Rooibos an antioxidant powerhouse would be an understatement!

If you find yourself to be health conscious, this is the best herbal tea option you are going to find. Along with the antioxidant value, it is full of trace and rare minerals, nutrients, and has evidence supporting heart health benefits.

How to use: Heat 8 oz of water to 200 degrees and steep 1 teaspoon of Redbush Rooibos for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy warm or over ice!

Ingredients: Red Rooibos from South Africa (organically grown)
