Wild Tea #3: Hibiscus Mint - Organically Grown

from 1.50

Hibiscus mint is our favorite "everyday" tea. With bright red flavor and a naturally sweet finish, you can enjoy this tea straight up or with a dash of lemon and honey for a real treat! You can even use it as a base for shakes and smoothies… you won’t believe the flavor your drink mixes will have using this easy technique.

Caffeine free, Hibiscus Mint is full of antioxidants and has hypocholesterolemic and antihypertensive properties. It also contains vitamin C! These antioxidants fight off the damage done by free radicals inside your body.

When you open a bag of hibiscus mint, be ready for a jolt of nasal infusion.

Hibiscus Mint should be a standard in the healthy and fit person's cupboard. It is great hot or cold.

As a blend of spearmint and hibiscus, you get a jolt of herbal nutrition with each sip. It makes for a great "anytime" tea that is light and sweet tasting and full of Wild Nutrition!

What you get:

  • Loose Leaf Premium Herbal Tea
  • Ingredients: Spearmint & Hibiscus

To Brew:

  • Sniff... sniff a bit more. Brew...
  • 1 tsp per 8oz water. Steep at 200 for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

*Most people don't know this, but you can brew the same tea leaves multiple times to get different flavor profiles and more nutrition! We recommend brewing your initial brew for only 2 minutes if you are planning on multiple brews. This will avoid over-extracted, bitter tea.

What our customers say

I received the tea today, it was nicely packaged. It had instructions printed clearly on the back of the bag.

I m a tea drinker so I know my preferences when it comes to tea mix.
The smell was very pleasant and not overpowering.

I enjoyed my cup of tea tonight and was surprised on how good it tasted. Very gentle on the palette which I love.
Though I received it at a discounted price for my honest review I will be back to order more and also try the others flavored available.
Big bonus for me was that I received an email from the company to ensure the tea made it and that there were no issues with packaging etc.

I live a very holistic lifestyle, and always try to take a natural approach to my health problems. Tea can be very beneficial to your health, so I do have a ton of it in my home. I had yet to ever try a Hibiscus Mint variety, so I decided to purchase some of this Hibiscus Mint. I was able to purchase this tea at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

When you open the bag you are immediately hit with fresh smell of hibiscus and just a touch of spearmint. When I infused the tea it became a beautiful ruby color, and the taste was very sharp. This is a more tart tea, not so much sweet, but I enjoy it a lot. The spearmint is very light but does cut down on the harsh taste of the hibiscus.

This tea is PACKED with Vitamins and minerals including Iron, and is full of antioxidants. Its the perfect tea to not only detox with but to get a good range of vitamins needed for a healthy strong core. This tea is also known to help with circulation, and with me having broken both ankles as a child, I do tend to suffer from some circulation issues.

Overall this tea has a strong flavor but is very good for you. I try to drink it once a week and it does make me feel a slight boost from all the extra vitamins. It is the perfect tea to drink when you are aching and tired. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take a natural approach to their health

I ordered this because I’ve recently been on a tea drinking binge, mostly peppermint, and wanted to break into new territories. That being said, I didn’t get a very mint flavor after just four minutes of steeping, unfortunately, but a very light, kind of fruity, taste, which I’m guessing is the hibiscus. Take note that this isn’t bad, I was just expecting more mint to come through, and I also normally steep my teas longer since I always add honey and cold water. I do enjoy the tea and am surprised at how little you need to make an eight ounce glass. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this to any tea lover and look forward to adding it to my daily rotation, just might need to alter the steeping time to your personal taste. Also, be careful if you add honey or other sweeteners, as I can see the light flavor being overpowered easily.

I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Edited to add: I’ve made this tea several times since my review and just wanted to say that I enjoy it more “iced” than hot. I brew a cup with one teaspoon for about ten minutes, then add it to a water bottle with frozen fruit and honey, add enough water to fill, shake, and chill overnight to let the fruit flavor get infused.

Just from opening the bag and taking my first smell I knew this was going to be a favorite of mine. I have just started using loose leaf teas in the last few months and this is the best quality tea I’ve gotten so far. I do not have a tea infuser yet so I use my french coffee press to make this. The taste of it is not as minty as I thought it would be based on smell, but it is a delicious flavor. I had never tried hibiscus tea and the color made me a little unsure beforehand, but after tasting it I have become a big fan. On top of all that it was great to read all the health benefits from this tea. The antioxidants and Vitamin C are 2 of the beneficial things you get from this tea. I highly recommend trying this!

The product arrived on time and well-packed. The bag is very sturdy and doesn’t show any signs of breaking or ripping easily, while keeping the tea very fresh. I’m a big tea snob, and I’m always disappointed when flavored teas taste like eating lipgloss or like I dropped a jolly rancher in a cup of hot water. This is not that type of tea! The taste is very soft while being flavorful. It’s not overwhelming by any means. If it comes across too strong, there’s nothing wrong with adding a little extra water, but I didn’t have that problem. I really truly enjoyed the taste. Another reviewer recommended it iced, which I will definitely try tomorrow! I’m going to look into other products/flavors with this company, I’m really excited to have found a very good quality loose leaf tea.

I bought this tea because I’m in love with the Hibiscus iced tea at Panera. This product caught my eye, because I also love mint flavor in my tea (though have never tried it iced). I was not disappointed!! The iced tea I’ve been making with this is awesome!! Just a hint of mint, which is very refreshing!! I personally prefer my iced tea unsweetened, but I’m sure it would also be good sweetened. I have the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Pot, and use about 2 1/2 Tbsp of the tea for brewing (I think it’s 2 quarts). Comes out looking like cranberry juice, and oh, so delicious! I’ll be ordering again for sure!
